My purpose of travel was to go on a safari, and my stay at Lion Sands exceeded all expectations. The staff were exceptional and provided the highest level of customer service. From check-in to check-out, every detail was taken care of. Our safari guide, Jamie, was wonderful, and we had an amazing time tracking leopard steps. The lodge itself was luxurious, and the location was breathtaking. We even saw elephants, buffalos, and hippos from our room. The food was also excellent, and the hotel provided a butler service. Highly recommended!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location of the lodge was incredible, surrounded by breathtaking African landscapes. The rooms were furnished luxuriously and had everything we needed. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and the food was exceptional, with a wide range of options. We were able to spot a variety of wildlife, including the Big 5, during our game drives, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
The management of the hotel handled claims poorly and denied responsibility for accidents that occurred on their premises.

During our recent stay at Lion Sands River Lodge, we had an incredible experience. The property was luxurious and the location was simply amazing. We were treated to stunning views of elephants walking down the river while enjoying breakfast, and even spotted buffalo and hippo from our room. The bed was so comfortable and our room was impeccably maintained by Busisiwe. The game drives led by Anthony and Kruger were absolutely phenomenal, with incredible sightings. And Jeffrey took great care of us during meal times, serving up exceptional and varied food. we had the experience of a lifetime at Lion Sands River Lodge. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

I stayed at a luxury lodge in a renowned reserve for leopard viewing. The game drives were excellent, thanks to our amazing ranger and tracker. The room was beautifully furnished, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The food and drinks were abundant, and the attention to detail was exceptional. I highly recommend this exclusive lodge for an unforgettable experience.

Our stay at Lion Sands River Lodge was worth every penny. The room was spacious and comfortable with a luxurious touch. The location was amazing, with breathtaking views of elephants, buffalo, and hippos right from our room. The staff treated us with utmost professionalism and attentiveness, making our experience truly exceptional.
The only area for improvement would be the variety of food for breakfast, as it could have been more diverse and unique.

The location of the lodge was exceptional, situated in a renowned reserve known for its leopard viewing. Guests had the opportunity to witness the Big 5 and other extraordinary wildlife experiences. The Luxury Rooms were beautifully furnished and meticulously serviced thrice a day, offering all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to fulfill all requests. Additionally, the rooms provided a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks, included in the room price.
One negative aspect was the lack of privacy in the Luxury Rooms due to an interleading room that was accessible to other guests.
